The reviewed vector version provides six stereo compressor lanes with Classic, New York, Glue, and Multiband modes. Threshold, ratio, knee, reduction range, attack, hold, release, detector filtering, RMS behavior, and stereo linking determine how each lane responds to the signal.
The multiband mode splits a lane into three frequency regions with separate compression settings. Parallel mix, makeup gain, envelope shaping, and independent or grouped lane routing support anything from controlled peak reduction to layered parallel compression.
